i already have darkcorp 1.1 installed and using neogamma 9 to play "legal back ups" the thing is i want priiloader for update protection and to be able to install fowarder channels but atm when i try to install priiloader i get the "nand access" error. will this help get around that and should i be able to install all this over darkcorp? will i have to reinstall darkcorp to be able to play games through disk channel still? thanks for help in advance

@TheTourist0100 yeah when using this guide, you will end up with 4.1U. It's the best firmware to have. You can still do everything you used to do on 4.3U. Just remember to never update.

Everything was going well until that point and I had to unplug the wii to get it to respond at all.

@kimmy0205 are you sure you installed it when you first installed the homebrew channel? Usually people get this problem when they forget to install bootmii, and are trying to launch it. If you're not sure, just re-install it again, and see if that clears the problem. If not, get back to me.

The not install BootMii as boot2 so if there is a brick there is no turning back up the NAND. The Priiloader is a safe and simple method for what I'm wanting?

@lordgiratina7000 Well if you select the option to block game updates, then yeah. Usually game updates don't remove or block the hbc, it's the firmware updates that do that, but it's always safe to just block all updates.

umm this is not working for me. i get to the part where i extract the CIOS pack and it says some of the files dont pass the CRC check. then i keep going like normal ( the only difference is that when i start the wii it gose straight to the menu where i set up the WAD) and i do everything like you did on your screen but when i try to load up priiloader it gose right back to the menu with the wad set up and what not. can anyone help me!
