Obama Game: In speeches, the Change Candidate. When stuck, he parrots what Hillary says. His health plan is the same as hers and also different? Hillary voted, like most Dems, to invade. He wasn't there to hear the false intel. Now he would reinvade Iraq and bomb Pakistan, like Bush. He will meet Al Qaeda in Afghanistan; no time for Security Committee meetings at Senate job. He will opt out of NAFTA, wink, wink Canada. He helped Rezko, but Rezko didn't help him. Barack screams Peter Principle.
This man packs stadiums with all type of people, Blacks,Whites,Hispanics,Asians,Young,Old,Men,Women!!! Hillary only packs Elementary Schools and Community centers with angry white women and old people!!!
The ability to work with both parties...I do remember Bush saying that as well in 2000! Also Bush was about change and empowering teh American people.
Where did that get us?
People need to make an educated Vote, not a emotional vote. If you are for Obama then more power to you...just the same as if you are for Hillary.
EconGuy07: This is not my first time hearing him speak...I heard him in 2004. I have listened to his other speeches as well as watched him give interviews...but I am not impressed. He has a knack of dancing around the issue that is in question while delivering me some political rhetoric. I have NO problem with that because that is what True Politician do. They avoid giving a concise definite answer so they will have wiggle room at a later date.
Obama never spoke of his Healthcare plan until Edwards was pushing his plan. Hillary had a Healthcare plan back in 97 when she was firt lady that was defeated by lobbyist. Actually if you want to go back and check the record we will see that Obama originally did not support a National Healthcare plan. So? Obama Economic plan is just talk just like the phrases "We cannot wait! Yes we can!" He has a gift of gab and able to create clever phrases and political rhetoric...
what you will soon find out is that Barack is even better at giving details and crystal clear details than he is at speaking in broad terms. Look for the videos where he is asked specific tough questions. You will be even more impressed.
When Obama delivers speeches, most of those in the crowd haven't heard him speak before. His speeches may be similar, but he always adds something to them, such as his sound economic and health care plans or his emphasis on working with both political parties. He simply doesn't have time to give a different speech each time. The key is that Obama is consistent and his strong message hasn't changed. Obama speaks from the heart and mind and truly cares about the people he addresses.
Obama is a solid speaker, he is very intelligent; charismatic; and knows how to play a crowd. But I noticed he gave the same speech repeatedly in different cities...just change the name. He is a true Lawyer and Politician at heart. I was undecided before this speech and after hearing him speak I have more RED flags popping up in my head.
I think people needs to put aside emotions so they can see the true issues and notice that not much is being address. He tells what the issues are and gives a general idea how they can be resolve but reality of the situation is that he cannot and will not be able to implement his general ideas. People say they want a change....I say just make sure the change you make is a GOOD solid change. Do not change for the sake of changing!
I think Hillary not qualified for President. Why? For example, how can she decide on an CIA report on terrorism if she could not discover her lovely Clinton´s games in oval office. Mmmmmmm....... :-)
It is a shame they could not have had him here when schools were not in session! Many of my students wanted to go, but they were afraid the truancy officers would have been there.
I am sure it was a schedule-thing, but still, a shame.
I wasn't able to make it to Reunion Arena today, so thanks for the footage. Obama has a way of capturing one's attention with his knowlege, insight, and recognition for the need to change. I hope he is able to do all of the things he speaks about when he gets into office. OBAMA '08
He was saying that we there is an urgent need to educate and prepare young men for job opportunities now, so they won't stray into trouble and end up in jail instead. And I do think it is undecided people like you who should come to the rallies--so you can experience first-hand the "unity in diversity" that everyone keeps talking about. Obama's belief that we are all more alike than we are different was evident today. MadisonStreetBoys, I hope you were convinced!
This was an amazing experience... I'm proud to be a part of history in the making.... We will never forget this day! Everyone was on one accord, ready for CHANGE!!!! BARACK THE VOTE!!!!!!
i was talking to some people in line who had friends who had already made it inside...apparently, there were people getting off the trains and cutting right to the very front of the line and were making it inside. did these people learn nothing about how lines work from elementary school?!
I don't see why people who were in the levels of the parking garage waited. I got there at 9:15 and got in at 12:15 (that's 3 hours of waiting) and I could see the door almost the entire time.
And I was in the nosebleeds. I went just to check it out and probably won't vote for him, but man can the man command and corral a crowd. Not to mention speak.
so why even go if you were sure you werent going to vote for him? why not let others get in who Do want to vote for him and listen to what he has to say...
i went because i personally wanted to see what he had to say...i haven't made up my mind yet. i think the people who are still on the fence SHOULD have been the ones let in...he doesn't have our votes just yet.
it had to be sometime past 12:45. the cops barricaded the doors, saying that the fire marshal wouldn't let anymore people in. i gotta say, it was first time i ever saw a dallas cop look genuinely sorry. they sent some poor kid out to break the news. he looked terrified, haha.
I was there . I was awesome

You might as well read his books and you will see what he's done, and that this is not an empty rhetoric!

One thing that to me took greatly away from a spot-on speech and made me cringe was the
"We cannot wait to put young men to work instead of jail."
Am I reading this statement the wrong way?
MadisonStreetBoys 4 years ago
He's saying young men should have an opportunity rather than not.
