Look at DruoxTheShredder's channel. Haters almost 80% of the time, and he would sometimes troll out of good reason (i.e. cannibal troll). And as he said, the more people that insult him or refer him to others, the more subscribers he gets.

As fans of certain things would as well. x'D They basically contradict until eventually they come up with a "reason" for wasting their time on said hate. such a great point ^_^ why can't more people think like you in the end even if haters hate a game they are still making people take notice of the game they hate therfore making it only more popular. I have read a few debates you have had with haters and honestly why do they bother you pwn them every time! as they can never produce an objective argument

That is why I'm not a fan of anything really, I *did* like some franchises but the test of time really has ruined them just to appeal to the new audience. The fanbases you currently have are the ones from day one essentially. I think that new franchises should be made for the modern audiences and leave the old franchises to the remaining old fans. That aside haters do bump up views and most discussed (if that's even a catagory now) so pretty much by thanking them you've offset their hate status.

However, I agree. A view for a video, regardless of a fan of hater viewing it, is still a valid view. Sure, I hate FFVII, but I typically don't go out of my way to bash it. I'll only speak of it when talking about it with a friend.

@TheIaidoka By that logic you may as well ask, "why hate anything". Age has nothing to do with it. Everything, and everyone is subject to hate. It's unfortunate, but rather true. And to be honest, it isn't that I hate the game. Sure, I dislike it, I find it overrated, but I don't necessarily hate it. What I do hate is the rampant fanboyism (which can be said about any game, ever, by anyone) and the fact that some people like to shove this game down your throat as the "best game ever".
