@PrinceZukoForEver21 A pilot episode is pretty much the first episode of a show. It's usually more of a "test episode" and made in order to sell the show idea to a tv network. Sometimes they air them and sometimes they don't. The Avatar pilot is included on one of the season 1 DVDs and you can probably find it on youtube somewhere. Although, it has a commentary which is kinda distracting.
