let's just think of this logically. if he were miming, then all the other performers eg. background singers, violin players and pianist are alll just faking it. which is unlikely. if he were to mime through the whole performance, they might as well just have him up there all by himself! and seriously, just listen to his deep breaths in btwn beats! that's more than enough proof.

but I highly doubt that this is the case. because shayne would be so so so much more emotional when he actually sings live. watch the x factor clip, his face becomes another thing when he hit that monster high note. Trust me this is not live.

I admire Shayne very much cuz he's brilliant. but the fact is that : due to something, he is forced to mime the song. that's it.

yes that may be the case, cause sometimes it's not the singer's choice to mime or not to mime, it's the person-in-charge of the programme to arrange it cuz, you know, he wants the sound effect to be perfect, so even the singer actually sings live in the studio. the real live track will be replaced by the studio verrsion when the show is shown on TV.

He doesn't need to mime. He can hit those notes just fine. He is one of the few singers who has pure tone and sounds as good live as on his cd's. I have seen him sing this live and it is pitch perfect. He is fabulous!!
