How you plan to use the album that got normally a pinch2zoom function?

Also it seems way slower than on HD2.

Propz tho for porting/flashing it on a way different mobile :)

I will try out HTC HD mini sense UI if someone on xda or Modaco cooks such rom for Omnia II, after all HD2 Sense UI is too much for Omnia II to handle. On the contray tho, HD mini has a slower CPU and same level of RAM and Rom memory. So would give HD mini rom for O2 a try

Few things I should add. Disable that twitter tab to get a touch more performance. Even on the HD2 is can get slowed down with that on. Also, using cooked ROMs on the Xperia, the people tab liked to be slow and laggy and I never really used that. You can ditch that also. Otherwise, with just a few tweaks here and there, I can see this running fairly well.

Even though Youtube's quality is crap and you cam is out of focus, you can really see the great AMOLED colours compared to the TFT display on the HD2

yep,that 200mhz does make a difference. and HD2 has OpenGL ES 2.0,and Omnia II has 1.0 . but im buying an Omnia II,coz its cheaper :D

cuz that samsung is to slow. the hd2 rom is only buld for 1GHz or faster if not than it will be laggy and slow loading.

Probably no, the issue of the multitouch isnt the O.S, is the screen, multitouch only for capacitive screen, omnia2 has a amoled resistive screen :(!!!!

i think the only option we have is to cook this onto a wm6.1 build. which will give more ram n rom space + slightly better performance, but wm6.1 on a o2 would be awful since it does not have a integrated stylus...

leo rom on a blackstone leave me with 60mb ram left. well the blackstone has 288 ram when the o2 has 256... so im guessing u only have arround 30mb ram? if so thats pretty hard to run anything else man......

of course its not 100% speed since its another hardware, and 3D is working with an OpenGL adapter made by GINKAGE (kind of an 'emulator')... but speed is perfectly usable
