Thomas Newman songs trully are beautiful. I listen to some songs and feel something missing or wish woow I wish they could have changed that part, but Thomas Newman's songs are trully masterful. I just feel every emotion and its wonderful and I cant think of a thing to ever change in his songs.

Yes, it is a six part mini series; incredibly long. I too love Al Pacino (and Meryl Streep) and they both give brilliant performances in this film. I would definitely recommend it. Just in case you don't know, the film documents the lives of around ten people in the aftermath of the 1980s AIDS/HIV breakout.

I take your point. There was a similar scene in "Interview with the Vampire", where the statue of an angel on a tombstone is watching the Brad Pitt character. You can see it at 1.07 on the trailer of that movie.

I have some of Thomas Newmans songs on my ipod and I swear, everytime i walk out the door, (it doesnt matter where im going) It feels like im in a movie!

Everything becomes so beautiful and meaningful. I remember walking and the wind blew some flower petals from a tree in my path just at the climax at a part of one of his songs and it was pure MAGIC!!!!
