Really nice render. I understand why it is so short. Nice light, setup and overall feeling. I prefer to do stills, cause this probably took you 20+ h to render, and people still don't like it cause it is just a glimpse of an eye. Check out new GPU MentalRay rendering (Based on CUDA and soon OpenCL). It will make long HD animations on home PC possible in reasonable time. I have high hopes for it as well.
