late answer but you need to play all stages of the game - there are different paths possible - on hard difficulty to earn all medals.. guess one of the hardest was the Z.O.E up to rank 5.. fucking stealthers :D

imho ace combat 2 is still the best ace combat ever. nothing beats it. the feeling it gives me is just indescribable. great songs, cool gameplay, just amazing.

games these days fucking suck, that's why i don't really even play videos games anymore. the only times i do play, i end up playing old games. i only have psx and ps2, but i reckon that those 2 consoles should last me another century :D

on the contrary i think this a great example of good music and also, music that suits the mood of the game very well.

No, you will not see a real XFA27 in action. Is it flyable? Yes, but the X tail is going to give away big radar reflection, which is a bad thing. Plus, the variable wing will suffer the same problem like F14 does. It require more maintenance and need more heavily build to maintain structural strength. That is why all successors of F14, Mig 23 and Tornado went back to "fix" wing.

Do not understand why you got 3 thumb down. May be M$ fanboy do not accept the harsh reality. Other super plane like Falken and Fenrir are also very good. But they are very limit to certain mission. But X02 and CFA44 are pretty pointless. X02 does not has super weapon and no significant advantage on speed and manoeuvrability wise. (SU47 is more capable that it in AC04). CFA44 has almost the same problem, though it has a not that useful fancy weapon. (A.K.A. Firework)

It's only fair that the Xbox crowd got a slice of the action. I've wanted Ace Combat 5 ever since it was released, but I've never even been able to sample it because I don't have a PS2. The 360 release of Ace Combat 6 was a must-have for me (it's now my favorite game of all time).

the 4th have the best Ace Combat ace that's for sure (Mobius 1), AC2 had the firsts super-planes and storyline, i think the best storyline is between AC3 and AC5, in MY oppinion AC3 and X are the bests.

Weird, I've played all the ace combat games and loved them all. Although this one is my fave I've never not enjoyed one even three with it's sci fi angle felt so star wars towards the end and thats why I got into these games in the first place.
