People really do forget how dominant Kobe was in 05-06. Of course, when your playing along side Smush Parker, Brian Cook and the incomparable Kwame Brown, as a team, your only going to do so well. If you would have put 06 Kobe on this years team, they would have won 70 games, and would have won the title much, MUCH easier then they did. 09 Kobe was great, but 06 Kobe was All-Time great.

In 2005-06 Kobe took 27 SHOTS A GAME!! But he only shot 45% from the field and played 41 minutes a game. Kobe also only averaged a weak 4.5 assists a game, 1.8 steals a game, and 0.4 blocks a game. The scoring was high but not efficient. But he didn't even average 2 steals a game and he was well under 1 blk.

Now compare that to d-wade's stats this yr. 29.7ppg, .495 FG%, 2.2 steals, and 1.4 blocks in only 38 minutes a game. Kobe also shot more FT and took 5 more FG's.
