elites are more expensive but much better. You get a 120gb harddrive opposed to the 20 i think. The Pro(20 gb) tends to get the "red rings of death" alot and you will have to wait 8 weeks to get it replaced IF its under warranty... I have only heard of 1 elite getting the red rings.. so i would DEF recomend the Elite. I got my elite a few months ago when my Pro died of the red rings.
