  • Thanks for the video. I am new to SoCal (from Virginia and Texas) and am looking to see hunting spots here in SoCal. What would be my best spot to start? Im not a bow hunter yet, so just rifles. Any thoughts?

  • gus791,

we are using a Sony HDR -SR7 with boom mic. I hear ya when it comes to A31. I haven't hunt there since opening week. Hope to be back in the stand in December. I'm with you, meat for the freezer. :)

  • First off nice video what type of camera are you using? I also hunt A31 zone for two yrs now, this area is nice but come opening day its a zoo. By the time you start in hunters are in there blinds and stands and you get other hunters walking thru your set ups. Its tuff I've been holding out for a buck but this year it's gonna be about the meat. You will see more bucks when the rut kicks in, so find the does and the bucks will be around. Now harvesting one is the hard part! Doe for me this year!

  • @abbitude1 hunting is a sport that some people enjoy, you dont have to agree with it nor bother watching the full video.

Nice video to the makers, i how you had a good harvest

  • I didn't see the stand... how far up the trail? before or after the switchback?
