I got this and I live in the states...so far no doctor will even consider it as a possibility, and each one I've been to tries to bs me, making it obvious that they don't really know anything about the disease. One doctor even tried to tell me there are no assassin bugs in the states! I even have the insect, as well as video of the one I caught!!!! How offensive is it to lie right to someones face when they pay you money to help them? Only a true asshole worthy of death would do such a thing.
this bug is name "barbeiro" here in brazil, and once they "bite and poop" the victm takes at least 20 years to start showing signs of sickness.. my mom passed away after 50 years, her siblings, never got a chance to leave the country passed away in their 20, 30yrs old.. :(
