I have been racing in the GRR for 15 years and the only problem we get is safety boats speeding up and down for no reason creating wash and swirl for everyone to row in.
@skiffhead There wouldn't be a GRR if it weren't for the volunteer drivers who provide their own safety boats. Yes, I'm sure some people are annoying but its a long day and can be hard to control the wash. I hope you continue to enjoy the race for another 15 years and give the safety drivers a break! :)

@MegaBadland And this video is off the drivers getting to the start of the race so can go as fast as they like - its the only fun bit of the day!
