I just saw Damon for the first time this last weekend and was lucky to have him ask me to jam with him and I am really thankful that I got the opportunity to have jammed with him.
The first time I saw Damon was opening, in place of a sick Johnny Lang on a moments notice, for Jeff Beck when he was just 18. I took my twin 12 year old sons. He rocked the house. Great memories.
Watching this video, I now see why Damon arouses such passion in his followers. I got chills down my spine from this, and a choked up tear or two. The guy can emote! Damon is a Soul Man, and I am now a fan!
Six years ago at the age of 21 Damon Fowler dropped a pebble into the pond, six years later those ripples have turned into a tidal wave - If you haven't heard about this monster guitarist - do yourself a favor and check this kid out! Remember this was six years ago, he is also a monster lap steel and slide player!
What amazes me is how little it costs to see him.
I know that when he opened for Tab Benoit, he was asked to play with Tab for the evening after his own set was completed.

Damon is great. I was listening to his live CD from Skippers a few minutes ago. He can jam with the best of them.
