After sharing a link to the scam and commenting on their "page" they make you do some surveys and end up only sending you to a page that contains this video. Luckily, I know HTML tricks and I used Chrome's Javascript console to remove the div blocking the final link to the "voucher," aka a page with this video, without doing any surveys.

My tactic is to get in stealth. Then wait for someone to order something. (Same looks as you is always good.) Wait for the cashier to change. Then just before they serve the meal, go to cashieer and say "I ordered *insert meal here* but I haven't got it yet". I have eaten many free meals by doing this :D.

actually mcdonalds has a slight counter measure for this. (my friends mom is a manager) now they don't release food at the pickup window unless it shows paid on the screen, it's still possible to do this but it's trickier now.

I've actually seen this happen here in the US (Centreville, VA). I was wondering why the car that was in front of me seemed to have a VERY SHORT conversation at the speaker. Then I realized he took off with my order without paying. I don't think theoretically this can happen continuously at the same McD's since they would eventually catch on. All they have to do is institute requiring a receipt when they get to the final window.
