The song and the video are very good, but I have to disagree that the song doesn't match the movie. The song seems to match very well with the relationship that Carmen and even Ofelia have with Vidal, each needing and seeking love from a man who's life revolves around death. In the end, Vidal does, in fact, 'lay to sleep' both Carmen (indirectly, through his instructions to the doctor not to save her life) and Ofelia (directly, by shooting her).

This movie is a masterpiece so I expect that a tribute video should do it justice. This music video certainly does and even though the songs actual lyrics & meaning may have been different, the video was so well edited and timed that it really didn't matter. I agree this blows away the official trailor with the bad voice-over..Its gripping without revealing too much..

The official trailor is too commercialized--giving people the 'words' to start talking about it--to spread hype, rather than having to watch and interpret as in this video.

But..I would say they were off in their target audience..a foreign film like this draws the attention of a different crowd..a crowd who would rather use their imagination than be dictated to..
