I honestly could not tell you the diffrence between dem. and rep. as I am a socalist. However, I can tell you that everyday I walk out my front door this countrys pride and honor seem to fade a bit more everyday. Due to "Miss-placed" help and un-just wars led by a fool who knows nothing of war or the value of life. Our goverment would rather give themselves more money than help their sick, their children or others in need. And dont get me wrong about this war, i support our troops, not the war.

Conservatives believe in creation. Yet they shun social programs that may maximize mankind's potential in its current static form.
Liberals believe in Darwinism. Yet they support social programs and entitlements that stifle mankind's evolution by creating a vacuum that allows the infirm and incompetent to thrive and multiply.
Another contradiction? Not once you consider what type of constituency each side is trying to build. Voters who are dependants make a wonderfully stable power base.
Conservatives are anti-abortion and pro-death penalty. Liberals are pro-abortion and anti-death penalty. It's a contradiction until you consider who they want to save and who they want to kill. It's good vs. evil...not a contradiction at all.
The evil is in wanting to save those who have murdered their fellow man, and been found to constitute a danger to others in a controlled institutional setting. Or aborting babies for the sake of expediency. The unborn infant has not had his day in court. We could simplify the entire matter by being either completely pro-life or completely pro-choice. Personally, I believe in the State's right to choose. Call it a retro-active abortion for criminals.
Until we rid the behavior that causes unwanted pregnancies, there is a need for legal abortion. Our country has always spent more time, energy and effort on putting the ambulance at the bottom of the cliff, instead of putting a fence around the top of it. We have grossly underestimated the need for prevention. That applies to many of our current problems.
You are absolutely correct, but the problem lies in trying to modify the biologically driven behavior that compels all life forms to reproduce. In the old days there were strict religious laws and social penalties to keep promiscuous behavior in check. In a modern secular society there is no such control. There isn't even any shame, just a government subsidy. I now what it would take, but civilized people would never consider such a thing.
Yes, but fortunately its not anything our society would tolerate. For now, each citizen will have to make the most responsible choice they can, others will have to continue to pick up the slack for those who don't or won't act responsibly. Eventually the problem will right itself. Either society will change legally, morally, and spirtually or society will grow top heavy with irresponsible people and simply colapse.
It is basically a bad thing. The scenario you have described is also very bad. If faced with such a dilemma a woman would have to choose between the lesser of two evils. A sexual predator's reproductive strategy of forcebly speading his genetic material into the gene pool should be considered a form of pollution. So, I would not begrudge any woman forced to make such a decision under those circumstances. But don't forget the predator, who should also be deleted from the gene pool
