Will there people who take from her and think that they are getting away with it? Yes! But my daughter will always sleep with peace in her heart and mind because her focus will be on Christ, while unfortunately, many of her peers' focus will be on themselves.

@2Kold it's supposed to be like that. It symbolizes how he feels people see him, as nothing more than a "nigger from the streets." They see him for his skin color only and not the person he is inside. He hopes that one day his girlfriend's father could see him that way. It's a commentary on racism.

Ich hab diesen Song mit meiner früheren Freundin immer im Auto gehört.... gaaanz laut! und wir haben uns dazu immer geküsst und in den Armen gehalten.... Ich habe die beziehung mit ihr nicht mehr ausgehalten, ich fühlte mich unterdrückt und gefangen... aber ich vermisse die Zeit mit ihr. Sie ist ein ganz besonderer Mensch, sie fehlt mir. Manchmal tut es mir leid was ich getan habe, aber als wir uns das letzte mal trafen hat sie mich geschlagen und bespuckt. jetzt weis ich das es richtig war!

I hate to say it but @rach84 is correct yeah maybe other counties have things wrong but American is supposed to be the "greatest" country an there is so much racism and shit it is not even funny. I am Italian and in Italia if there happens to be a black person no one ever treats him bad they are treated like a person including every other race. But Americans discriminate so much against everything especially immigrants.

@rach84 If u think america is the only country that is "screwed up" at the moment you need to do a little more reading/research. How about the cultures that still cut off girls sexual organs and the political upheaval in Iran and Egypt. If I had to choose I think I'll stay where I am. Remember we didn't get in this mess overnight but at least we have the tools and opportunities here to slowly change he course we are on.

I just had my first child 9 months ago but I take it upon myself to be sure that she is brought up with a strong belief in the principles of Christ which is to say, Love & Give. Yes. Will there people who take from her and think that they are getting away with it? Yes! But my daughter will always sleep with peace in her heart and mind because her focus will be on Christ, while unfortunately, many of her peers' focus will be on themselves.
