I can't thank you enough for making this video, it'll give me a nice assortment of highlights until I can get the CD myself :) Incredible movie, incredible soundtrack!
James Newton Howard again creates themes as powerful as they are moving. A film so well put together that one can truly believe in the science behind it. A wonderful story of good versus evil; superhero and villain. Triumph and tragedy. And the perfect soundtrack to go with it.
This music...honestly must be dangerous, Makes me feel no cares, makes me feel unbreakable you know? That's when you know when you have a good movie and good music to go along or even without! I GIVE THIS MOVIE 5 STARS!
I love SLJ's ending seech to this movie, and with this in the background, it's even more powerful, hearing all the emotion in his voice along with this. =)
@Hilallamaa Message from REDEMPTION: Never heard of him but his music for this is DANG GOOD. But I still like Hans Zimmer, Steve Jablonsky, and Clint Mansell.
@mac19971 I very much agree with you! Those guys you are mentioning are absolutely amazing! But don't forget James Horner! He is SO amazing! :o)
There's just nothing more powerful, than a fantastic movie with a matching divine score... I have found that it really can transform ones soul... Just leave you breathless..
Thanks for posting this! I wonder if M. Night cast Willis and Jackson after seeing them work together in Die Hard 3 and Pulp Fiction (although those two never had any scenes together in PF)?
This is such a great movie, and the music just so builds it up :) A big thx to Mr Howard, Mr Shyamalan, and not least Jackson and Willis. This is a breathtaking experience :)
I've listened to this music over and over and have always envisioned myself taking the hand of God and meeting my loved ones in the afterlife. There's great music for everyone in thier own way.
Some of my friends found this movie boring but I totally disagree. Unbreakable is great film with unique storyline. It wasn't Action - it's Mystery/Thriller with elements of SCI-FI. Bruce Willis was stunning. Spencer Treat Clark showed brilliant acting for a kid
brilliant this, but i realised, the version of "unbreakable" featured in this video is completely different to the other versions of "unbreakable" on youtube. yours is better, obviously, im just saying, d'you know where i can find this version on its own?
Even though this compilation has only fragments of the whole soundtrack, wXTubing has so perfectly picked those bits and have them arranged in that order, the emotional transition from one piece to another is seamless, that it feels like single musical piece onto itself.
wXTubing you have done it so perfectly, I feel like its a minature sympathy telling it's own story. I listen to this more frequently than any of the complete tracks of the soundtrack that are on YouTube.
I'm surprised there were two sequels lined up... I'm naturally curious as to where the story would go afterwards..
This movie blew me away, the realism, the subtlety.. I love David's power of 6th sense... And the fact they never go so far as to have him get shot or show him taking a severe beating to emphasize how he is immune to it... This damn movie was masterfully crafted and deserves more than it's gotten in terms of a fan following. I guess people don't like thinking anymore...
you tend to find that these days the best films out there don't do so good because they require people to think. people'd rather see a big budget hollywood movie with no storyline. their loss i guess.
At 7:40....when Elijah's true character is revealed and you find out who he is and what he's done could not have been complimented better by that piece of music. The dramatic build up when I first saw this made me wanna cry. It's almost like he reached out for someone to understand his pain, only to be rejected, but then seems content and relieved. The suffering in his eyes was amazing. Not a fantastic movie, but a truly memorable moment in cinema as far as i'm concerned

It would have been better to have him tell Dunn and then escape or something in my opinion.

shyamalan is like an artist with what he does with his peices, and with james newton howard with him they work perfectly together. shyamalan seems to express the everyday good and evil that can be found within someone, but never the less they both are coming from the same reason, finding out who you are. the the music is perfect, heroic, and carrying audrey is like the final resolution and peice of mind, satisfaction.

Beautiful music from a beautiful movie! I love this movie!!! I didn't like Bruce Willis until the "Sixth Sense" and the "Unbreakable". He proved to be a real actor rather than just a hollywood cliche!
I think he's come along way. A charming dude in Moonlighting to an action icon in John McClane to the dramas in the Sixth Sense and Unbreakable. BADASS LEGEND!!!
Something great this score has and is different from many other "hero film" scores is that you listen many "crescendo" notes, but never have a choir or anything too exorbitant. So, in my humble opinion, we see a more humen hero in the film (no fireballs, no flying), and the score adjusts perfectly.
