  • When I saw this 35-40 years ago, I had no idea that the Z's and the set behind them were deliberately made to look alike. It's amazing how much more I understand when I apply adult intelligence. But these clips fascinated me so much so long ago, even if I didn't understand what was going on.

  • Who did the high-pitched Z?

  • I wonder if the letters were three Xs if they would make the Z sound.

  • The cute anything muppet was voiced by Frank Ozzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz. LOL

  • @See918 I didn't know that until recent years. I didn't realize when I watched this as a little kid in the 70s that the boy sounded like Bert.

  • I think I remember this. Even though there's all those Z's, it's awful hard to fall asleep watching this!:) After all, it's hard for me to fall asleep while I watch ANY great Sesame Street or Electric Company memory! Thanks, Jon!

  • I can see the wires on each Z hiding

  • Good eye. I see it too.

  • thanx for loading this, I have been looking for this FOREVER !!! I haven't seen this clip in 30 years I bet...

  • This seems pretty similar to another clip I read about on Muppet Wiki. It involves two anything muppet boys getting ready to play hide and seek, only rather than counting, one of them recites the alphabet while the other hides. Seems pretty interesting to me. Can anyone upload it?

  • Please make sure it doesn't get deleted this time. I was so dissapointed when this skit got taken down before. :(
