Refs don't stop Judo matches because of a strangulation technique. It's part of the game. Tap out or pass out. However, the ref and medics should have been faster aiding him after the fact.
@NoGiJudoka Naaaaaaaahhh not from a choke... i have been choked out twice.... its not that bad and the chances of serious damage are almost impossible as long as the Ref is not an idiot and notices as soon as you pass out

I agree with BloopBloop...the ref didn't really leave it too long or anything. As soon as he saw that judoblake was fading, he stopped the action.
However yeah, after judoblake was still laid out on the mat, I think the medic should have come out quicker.
