My brother, when he was ten, came with my family and me to one of my cousin's basketball games when he was in college. The guy let me tell you is almost seven feet tall. One time when I was in 7th grade, my softball team had a game. As usual, I was catcher. I was covering home when the runner on third literally ran over me. I was in front of the plate about to catch the ball so she didn't need to even come close to me. But fortunately it's pretty hard to miss a catcher ending up in the dirt when there's a force at home. Because she 1. hurt me 2. caused me to keep from getting her out, she was taken out of the game. (-:

I used to always get in trouble for talking back to the teachers. If I thought they were wrong, I'd say so. Unfortunately, debates were not encouraged, and I narrowly avoided suspension twice in middle school.

Being a smartass tends to piss people off, but I have an older brother, so I know how to defend myself. I'm not very big, though, so if I can't fight someone, I know how to keep out of trouble. Just think how a jury would see it (hypothetically, of course), provided they're not feminists.

Actually, your mistake was probably laughing running up the court. lol I am not gifted at basketball although I wanted to play. I was on the 7th string of the team which meant that if all the other players were drafted to VietNam I might get to play. My parents still came to watch me do my complementary lay up which I usually missed.
