1998 lumina ltz 3.8 in car accel 0-70 and system

My 98 LTZ with the 3.8 starts good when its cold, but after it warms up it will not fire up unless I shoot starter fluid in the intake, changed fuel filter & pressure regulator, cleaned MAF sensor with the cleaner for it and still acts up, fuel pump was changed also. Any ideas?

Wish they had a 5 spd auto transmission. That engine has a lot of power and torque to offer and 5 spds would make this car hella faster.
