My vote for the worst Paul McCartney song is "We All Stand Together", I also could never stand "Let Em In" and "Ebony and Ivory", I actually liked "Another Day" and "Say Say Say"
They DEMANDED it. An SAS response to "permanently fucked cabbage colonials brainwashed into wannabe thinking they're all martial artist Superchicnk spooks" and it's difficult when they challenge me, I break bits off, and they remember the bits belinging to the wrong people.
Yet they are the ones who start it, from seomething resembling a highschool bunker.
Saw a guy in higschool once, went INSANE because he got a 99% on a test. Started freaking out, smashing shit upt. This has been kinda like 17 years of "let me rearticle my student body" resulting in the same spaz at the point of "no... I beg you.. please...you don't understadn... my father....my father paid you EXgf a lot of money...."
This video also shows an "Emulator III" keyboard that is really an "Emulator II+" - according to Paul Wiffen, he noticed someone discovered the white tape (what was used for naming the channels on the mixing console with a chinagraph) was almost the same width as the I's in the legend "Emulator II" on the back panel. It was irresistable, so this Emulator II became the "Emulator III." McCartney thought it was a joke. It of course caused a decline in Emulator II sales.
John Landis recently admitted the only reason he agreed to put this song in the movie was because he felt bad after having a phone conversation with McCartney who was over the moon about it saying it was the best thing he felt he'd written since John died. After that Landis couldn't bare to nix what he actually thought was a dreadful song.
What I like about this song is it gives me that "no matter how bad things can get something good always comes out of it" vibe and it also makes me feel goofy
@microcephalec I think your information is running together. Paul McCartney did not die in a car crash. Maybe you should get your facts straight before you go displaying it on public things like this. Also, I do believe Elvis Presley is dead. He had a heart attack right?
@microcephalec Oh what lovely language. Do you talk to your mother like that? I would never talk to you like that. I don't even know you. But anyway, do you believe everything you hear on the television or the papers? I don't. So just because Paul McCartney decided to spend sometime with his family doesn't mean he's dead. And you didn't answer my question, isn't Elvis Presley dead? I think so!! Jim Morrison and Jimi Hendrix are dead. Congratulations, you got something right...
@TheFiresteel What the crap?? Teaming up now??? Obviously you to don't get out much... There have been many things proving the Paul is Dead rumor is NOT true... Now Tell me TheFiresteel? (stupid name) Why are you calling me a 'Tard'? I said nothing to you...
Well, what a sloppy clumsy mess we've got here. Ah well, at least Paul still brought us Say Say Say in this decade. This is definitely a black mark on his record, though.
The thing about a lot of fun or goofy songs, is that most of them are pretty polished, to get a crisp sense of humor and wit. This however just sounds like it staggered out of the studio, and it's barely trying to keep its lunch in.
Ah well, at least it looks like they had fun in the video.
this song for some reason reminds me of 2009 when I've gotten reacquainted with a bunch of old high school buddies on Facebook and some of them rejecting me on Facebook but it did give me an attitude makeover and helped me remember the person I used to be in my younger years and it feels great to be that person again, from 2006-08 I've had a close relationship with this girl I really liked and I became this egotistical rock star and I didn't know who I was anymore, thank God for Facebook!
Ik ben een grote Macca fan, maar slechter dan dit gedrocht heeft hij gelukkig nooit gemaakt. Pure trash en rommel is dit... die typische eighties sound, om van te kosten... bweurk!
This song for some reason reminds me of when I've first joined Facebook and me getting reunited with a bunch of old high school buddies and they helped me remember who I used to be back in my younger years (I graduated from high school in the late 90s) and I sure am grateful to have them back in my life again today! This song also reminds me of how goofy I was and again today
The guitar that Paul is playing is the same one he used on the original recording for "Paperback Writer". It's a right-handed Epiphone strung upside down.
@lptomtom the 80s were definetely higher in the food chain than the 90s. although, the 80s had traveling wilburys and flowers in the dirt and the 90s had stuff like flaming pie & driving rain

OUCH! Lets just say someone wasn't writing the best songs in the 80s ... the bigger they are the harder they fall, and this song is one MASSIVE flop!!
Such a flimsy piece of fluff. Paul wrote a certified classic in "Live and Let Die," but this is even worse than his theme song for "Vanilla Sky." The video is clever (in spots), and Paul pours on the charm, but John's "pretty face" swipe is right on target here - it's the only thing going for this otherwise embarrassing crap. And it still made top ten.

@cheatshot26 Very much agreed. 28 people need to stop trollin' and start appreciating good music. Like you said, good for it's time. It's also a damn fun song to listen to today.
Why are people all of the sudden bashing John Landis on this song, I thought he was a great movie director and some of my favorite movies are the ones he directed, meanwhile this song definitely makes me feel goofy and it inspires me to still be happy no matter how rough things can be in life
Hi do a search for "the fourth contrast" in our latest single "Jane" we have incorporated some McCartney sounds, merged it with Brian Wilson´s harmonies.
John Landis is a murderous idiot and an embarrasment for the USA and the human race in general, and anybody willing to work with him is a certified idiot with no shame nor sense of decency.
Aren't all those people ashamed to themselves. Collaborating with that murderer, that waste of human flesh called John Landis. I know that Chevy Chase is an utter idiot, so he doesn't surprise me, but Paul McCartney and Dan Aykroyd? What they were thinking?
By far THE BEST McCartney song ever written. Beats the hell out of that hack bubblegum Beatles crap. The fab what-for.
