I have been meditating for about 5 years now and it puzzles me how this meditation could be any different or better from any other meditation. Personally I practice vipassana meditation and I have had some very profound experiences with it.
Maharishi did not dwell long at the topic Unity Consciousness. Instead he start to
talk about the gross level (boring) administration in the world.
Why didn't Maharishi tell meditators that this vaccumstate (Unified Field) you expereince in TM as nothingness / emptyness, this IS what we Are, the impersonal Self.
Or did Maharishi tell this somewhere and I missed it, even though I meditated TM for 20 years?
@Indweller108 because one can be told the truth over and over again and miss it every time... the best teacher draws his disciple closer and closer to the truth, but ultimately allows the devotee to find it himself; it's much more real that way.
31. "The wise do know and are aware of the laws of the everlasting flow of eternal change. Therefore, they endeavor to adjust to the grand scheme of events and of progress, because they appreciate the laws of Creation, namely, that the cycles of existence must be completed as prescribed by these laws"

Wonderful! I really like the analogy about Unity Consciousness is like being on peak that is a plateau from which you cannot fall.
