  • Is it full of 4558's? It's Peavey! (LOL)

  • @paulj0557 nope. Like I said in the thing somewhere I think, it looks like it's Teisco construction. Peavey never lifted a finger I'm guessing with regard to this one and the story we got from someone was that their Father I think had worked for Peavey and tried to swing some deal to get this things produced by them but it didn't go well. Comment above I can't figure out so...to avoid confusion I'll clip it :-) Let me know via mail.

  • Amazing find!! Sure sounds like a Teisco

  • Very interesting one-off. It sounds like a Gibson-esque upper manual with a GEM/Farfisa-esque lower manual with no bass section. Have you seen any dates on the capacitors? As always, keep 'em coming! You guys are the biggest combonuts on YT.

  • @mewrth Yeah that's a pretty good description I guess. The caps...I don't know how to read date codes..the only thing I see other than value/mfg related is CE(W) or CE02(W) on an Elna cap. The others are mostly mitsubishi I think..

  • @mewrth PS I should say that the date on the unit is no doubt within a year of the TEISCHORD B that I also did a vid on; the one that has coils.rather than trim pots for oscillator tuning.
