@milemuncherbiker im 14, i noticed that they are out of tune, im just not rude to people i guess. not saying im amazing or even close to it, but tbh they sound better than my Cdt band.
@BeastPiper35 Thanks for the reply It was a very nice mail and worded in such a way that it's a credit to you. Yep piping isn't easy and can take years to master if at all. At 14 you still have the advantage of age and probably with practice could be excellent. you could send me a pm and talk bout piping, take care and keep practicing.
@thebagpipehero ive just been playing a tonne and i can pick up on that, all three drones are at diffrent tones, if you play around with your own pipes and findout how they sound at diffrent positions up/down the stock you will get good ears and be able to tell what is wrong and the easiest way to fix it. :D
@BeastPiper35 Both tenors should be at the same pitch; half the pitch of low A and a quarter of the pitch of high A. It is impossible to tell which tenor is out of tune unless you are in very close proximity to the piper. You certainly can't say from a video that someone's middle tenor is out but you can say a tenor is out (you just dont know if it is a middle or an outside tenor)
@thebagpipehero i appologize for my lack of knowledge toward bagpipes, again i will say im only 14 and this is my second year playing. I was simply pointing out that i could hear a tenor drone out, thank you for explaining that to me though, always happy to learn :)
