Technically brilliantly filmed, but I found the bonus footage on the disc even more compelling and interesting, I had hoped the actual film would have had more behind the scenes footage, historical footage and otherwise, but it was more a "concert" film apart from sparse pre-show and after-show footage. I still plan on purchasing the DVD, though. Bitching about the above is like complaining that your cigarette lighter doesn't work in your Rolls Royce. A good watch.

This dispute over who's better-The Beatles or The Stones? It's kind of silly really-they're two unique bands. I love 'em both-The Beatles more....but I have a real affection for The Stones and they're not a bad pick for a guy's second band. The Beatles songs-the latter ones-are more lyric/peace driven-deeper. The Stones are better musicians and definitely more bluesy. They also took a different take with their lyrics in the mid-late 60's-more aggressive with the war and civil rights. That's mho!
