It's against the law for not-for-profits to be involved in political partisan activity. I guess they have decided to give up their designation of not-for-profit. Sharon Lent should be advised that her activities could very possibly result in losing charitable status and all the tax free donations that go with this designation. Political partisan activities in a church is in bad taste - politics belongs to the world.
If a conservative lobbyist used a church pulpit like this during an election there would be hell to pay. How does the left go to sleep at night behaving like this?
Now there is an idea. (0:38) If Caritas is doing the same work as D&P then why don't we just give our donations to Caritas. The Vatican is more likely do a better job of tracking were the money goes then D&P.
