@anakinsol I always get a laugh out of the "trained observers" that report UFO's. Trained at what? A cop on the beat isn't trained to tell a chopper from a stealth from a B-17 at night. He is just a guy. Same for a pilot. They are not trained to tell what something is if they have no reference in reality for that object. Seeing and identifying something in the sky at night and telling precisely what it is, how far it is, and where it is is next to impossible with the naked eye.

Problems with this footage: It's not an energy beam of any kind (laser, proton, plasma, arc, etc) all energy travels at 299 792 458 m / s, thats faster then you can blink your eye. The so called beam is traveling slower then the shutter speed of the camera, and actually slows down.

I find the idea of malevolent aliens a bit simplistic because it anthropomorphises their intentions. We're either interesting enough to study or insignificant enough to bulldoze out the way. @anakinsol I always get a laugh out of the "trained observers" that report UFO's. Trained at what? A cop on the beat isn't trained to tell a chopper from a stealth from a B-17 at night. He is just a guy. Same for a pilot. They are not trained to tell what something is if they have no reference in reality for that object. Seeing and identifying something in the sky at night and telling precisely what it is, how far it is, and where it is is next to impossible with the naked eye.

But most pilots, cops, and soldiers would face serious action for lying to a control tower, dispatch, or commanding officer. So why would they lie? No one becomes famous for saying they've seen a ufo. So we've established two truths: there have been plenty of these sightings by people we EXPECT to tell the truth, and they have stated in plenty of interviews they were told never to mention it again. WHY?

Problems with this footage: It's not an energy beam of any kind (laser, proton, plasma, arc, etc) all energy travels at 299 792 458 m / s, thats faster then you can blink your eye. The so called beam is traveling slower then the shutter speed of the camera, and actually slows down.
