i disagree that 7800 is their best effort. it's got some good songs, but as a whole i don't think it's on par with slippery, new jersey, these days, keep the faith, crush or the new one. i do think it's an underrated album, but i wouldn't go that far. only lonely is a song i think they should play more though.

I remember Bon Jovi saying they hated their early videos. They would have much rather have done a simple concert video of them just playing instead of a stupid mini movie with a dumb storyline. I don't understand why Jon hates "7800 Fahrenheit", I think is as good as "Slippery" or "Jersey", is the same sound and style: Harmonious choruses, heavy guitars and drums; and if he hates it, why the band put "In And Out Of Love" in their 1994's Greatest Hits, and let hits like "Born To Be My Baby" and "Living In Sin" out...?

this album was totally underated. i love it! so emotionally and u can really FEEL the pain in the songs. and that is a great thing. if u can feel it, it makes them a real artist and not just sumone who can make a beat. this record was a big part of their career. not a speed bump in the road.(by pain i mean wht he felt when he broke up with dorethea for like a week....he luvs her to much to stay way....so sweet: :))
