no need to be rude. i just wanted to say that this game aint THAT bad. i played this game about year ago, when it came out on geforce 6200 TC where i had no other option but to play this game - vga could handle it in medium and i was satisfied.

The game budget product and was done in short period of time. And major thing is that these games developed by City Interactive are playable on old rigs with old graphics - i think this is the purpose of these games, playability with no need to buy new rig or 500-1300€.

I have 3 games from City Interactive, and i bought them all for under £5. The visuals on the game are pretty good but unfortunatley that's the only thing thats pretty good. The compant bosh these games out one after another with the same crappish engine and gameplay, hats off to them, they make there games look very good with fancy packaging and carefully selected screenshots. If these guys just put there heads to a proper story line, better featues and animations etc they could come up with...

The boxes come with a cardboard sleeve over them which has alot richer image quality and a shiny silver strip across the top which says 'PREMIERE' so when your shopping you're like "OOOH SHINYY!! ARMA is a combat simulator not an arcady piece of crap. So mabye its not for everyone but its far far better than this. They'll keep making games like this because people just want to start a game and jump straight into action, a game where you don't have to think or learn anything. Do you still need a powerful PC to run it? There were loads of complaints when FEAR was released, though they've all quitened down since Crysis was released.

FEAR? I don't think so, my computer definitely exceeds the recommended (3.0GHZ processor, 1GB RAM, 256MB+ video card) specifications except by the processor, which is apparently a dual-core.

Crysis itself can run on my machine at medium on 1024, but has to be all low to even keep it stable on widescreen (16:9/10) resolutions. Yeah, in about 2 years everybody will have enough technology to run Crysis on medium-high. much like FEAR a few years back.

Dude, thats quite a nice PC you got though, the average PC owner has a 2.4ghz machine still.

Crysis is more a poorly programmed game more than anything, they lazily optimised it in order to get a quick launch. which will be proven with Far Cry 2, it's far more impressive, yet you need a PC half as powerful to run it.
