  • Holy shit Deftones gone Death Metal!

  • its prob good for jazz becasue it has so little movement it would cut down overtones and ring

  • wow thats a cymbal

  • What a monster ride!

    I have a 20" Stagg DH ride, which I like a lot.

  • @dibach70 yea they're great rides!

  • laaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

  • very dark, with large sustain. the bell is much too dark for my taste. i would use it for some ambient music / ambient metal perhaps, bands such as wolves in the throne room might find that cymbal interesting.

  • @Silenoz1991 its quite versatile, don't forget these haven't been EQ'd so theres allot you can do with it. i've used it quite a bit now for some different sessions

  • What's the splash you have closest to the ride? I really like it.

  • @metalmaster126 Hi, its a 10" Furia series Medium splash. thanks for watching

  • @SessionDrummerJames Cheers!!

  • @metalmaster126 no problem mate!

  • the bell is not how I imagined it, no cut at all.

  • @MasonBangsDrums the bell is duller because the cymbal is huge! think of how much more cut the ice bells have than ride bells, that is because they don't have the weight and wash of a cymbal attached, when its a 30" cymbal as thick as a ride they will be duller, however its quite musical, if you want cut, the new Myra bell rides (soon to be uploaded) have tons!

  • Stagg are so underrated...awesome vid!

  • @spursfan112 Yes they are, thanks allot!

  • @SessionDrummerJames Isnt Shove it from Deftones?

    Anyway...stagg are incredible man :O

  • @Fuck1nMetal honestly i have no idea lol. as it says in the description i don't try to copy the original parts and in many cases i don't know them, its allot harder to be original on songs you know inside out. they're purely tracks i jam to for the cymbal demos. yea they're awesome cymbals. i can't say enough good things about them, and Stagg as a company are fantastic, very helpful, very friendly and constantly evolving and moving forward.

  • Nice video

  • @wmroberts53 thanks!

  • Very good demo's my friend

  • @OurLastActOfficial thanks allot!

  • what.......

  • It's huge O.O

Really nice videos by the way!

  • @Hallintakeino Thanks!

  • From the front view, the bell looks about as wide as your head XD The cymbal sounds surprisingly nice.

  • @WhenxChristxReturnsx the bell IS the size of my head. its awesome!

  • @SessionDrummerJames Haha wow, that cymbal must've cost a fortune! It's ironic you replied, I ordered a 27 inch china cymbal just the other day! Very excited for it's arrival!

  • @WhenxChristxReturnsx they aren't cheap, but not at all bad for the amount of metal you get and certainly ALLOT cheaper than if someone else were to make it. 27 inch china?! who makes that? i thought my 18's were loud, i can see needing some SERIOUS ear protection for that thing!! let me know what its like.

  • @SessionDrummerJames I imagine so. It's insane how much cymbals from the more popular companies cost. That's right, 27 inch china! It's hand made in mainland China, so you know it'll have that dark, trashy sound chinas should have. The company stamp in the picture is illegible, but I imagine it'll be very similar to Wuhan or Stagg. I will send you a link to a video of it after I get it!

  • @WhenxChristxReturnsx sounds great! i would imagine its Wuhan, i seem to remember them making somethings like that. any chinese company making cymbals is gonna be good. its silly, people complain about chinese cymbals, but no-one knows who made them first, china or turkey, and you wouldn't complain about chinese take out being made by chinese people! i look forward to hearing it!

  • @SessionDrummerJames Wuhan does make a 27 inch china, but this one has a different logo and cost considerably less. Haha good one! Very good point though, so many new drummers don't take the time to learn about companies that make proper china cymbals and get an overpriced Sabian B8 or Zildjian ZBT that, to me, just sounds terrible. It's interesting, china cymbals were originally used in war, clashed together to impair the hearing of enemy soldiers. Maybe that's why they tend to be so loud.

  • And I thought a 22" was big haha

  • @mreliassimpson tell me about it! but, bigger cymbal - bigger tone!

  • That is one BEASTLY ride you got there! :D

  • @JonnyVersusTheWorld yep! sounds awesome though.
