M/T Firdes in stormy weather (Bay of Biscay,Atlantic)

I have been through The Bay of Biscay in 1967 in a force 10 gale aboard HMS Cavalier. We were punching through swell so large that we were totally submerging. Condition Zulu...all hatches closed..positive air pressure inside the ship. I saw HMS Caesar (I think), it was another destroyer, go into a swell and completely vanish only to punch out of the other side..I was 17 years old.

Something I will never forget..and before the storm started the sea was completely flat..like a pond...awesome.
