My father did the same to me! He gave me a drag on his cigarette when I was about 6-7 yrs old. I never did smoke (I'm 62 now). So it often does work.

Some films just don't age well. This is one of them. It couldn't look or feel more 1940's even if it tried, and it's so cheesy and anvilicious that it's utterly hilarious. The only way to enjoy it is laught AT it, not WITH it.
