After watching 24 / 7, I actually don't -Hate- the Flyers as much... Suprisingly, Hartnell is a guy I've grown to like versus somebody I use to seeth rage at!

I loved this show. HBO does such an amazing job with the 24/7's (whether it be boxing, hockey, etc.). Plus, Live Schreiber's voice is PERFECT for this.

@knickmet2 glad to hear I wasn't the only one. I loved playing and traveling to compete in other towns when I was young. The culture, camaraderie, and off ice antics/jokes were nearly identical. Show sums up the essence of the sport perfectly. Takes me straight back to it.

@Shanor909 Yeah. The big issue with that is the TV ratings for the game would drop way down because there is a team who isn't in the United States. That is why Canada has their Heritage Classic. It would be a good game, but I don't think it'll happen.

I'm a flyers fan but cmon now. Flyers fan, rangers fan, or any other fan you have to put aside your intolerance of a team and just realize how every bit of this show is perfect. Hell I actually gained some appreciation and respect towards the rangers players and staff after this. HBO could do 24/7 with any other sport but it'd never touch hockey. All I have to say to them is keep it going. I loved it last year, loved it this year, and I'm sure I'll love it next year, regardless of the teams.

As a former player that has played in three countries while in high school, this ending totally struck a chord. I love and miss this game so much. I have not played in over a decade, but I still officiate (have been since I was 17). Very few shows accurately show us what this sport truly is...and HBO did an amazing job. Both Winter Classic series' took me straight back to being on the ice and in the locker room.There is simply no other sport like this.

Rangers stayed in the game only because of Hank... had Biron been in net, game would have been 4-0 after 2 and basically over. For as much as their defense is touted, they are not that great and rely on Hank to bail them out time and time again.

Biron is a beast, hes been playing amazing, the rangers have probably the most well rounded defense in the NHL and scoring has been up n down the line up with the stars producing when needed, hence the reason we are first in the League... not just the conference
