Very nice. To answer he question about where to wade. It's wadabele on the Canaidian portion where it is still a small river.

Nice fish. Good quick release. I have fished the skagit many times and it is one of my favourite places. The mosquitos can be extremely bad though.

where is this at? id love to go fly fish the skagit but dont know where its shallow enough to actually wade

The Skagit is at a perfect level to wade right now, almost the entire system on the Canadian side. Alot of guys are on the Fraser and Vedder going after the Pinks and Coho, so you would probably be alone on the Skagit.
Best of luck...it's worth it.
