This is the song I lived by when I went drag racing with the guys in our Muscle cars. What a time it was listening to HI REVS poping the clutch and tearing ass and listening to Saturday nights alright for fighting at the same time. I'm so glad to have lived at a time when rock was king and muscle cars were coming off the assembly line. Thanks Elton this will always be my No.1 song for as long as I live.

The OPEC oil embargo and stricter emissions standards had effectively killed the muscle car. Some models still had the style, but the performance was gone. It's probably why Elton was ready for fighting...
