Josie should have been a regular on the show... I would have liked to see an episode where she was in the final stages and she passes away to show the effects of Aids and the toll it takes on her and the friends around her.. Too bad they never thought about exploring her character more..

This is one of the best episodes !and its so funny how ignorant people are about AIDS. People have it and you wouldn't even kno. So to devore504, I'm sure that someone has already served you food and they had it. And if you go to a hospital at all for any reason (even to visit someone), a person wit AIDS has sat on the same chair or bed you were in. Dont be surprised!

@LRSRSCLSCTS I'm saying! I was like, what, 10 or 11 when this episode aired, and even I knew all about aids, and you couldn't catch it from someone just by looking at them, or breathing on them. If anything, Mr. Gaines was right, they were more dangerous to her than she was to them. I know its normal for some people to over react, but there's a diffeence to being confsed about something and just being plain ignorant.

@LRSRSCLSCTS I had an uncle who died of AIDS. When I saw him in the hospital looking so weak and frail I felt so sad. He wasn't really treated all that well by my other family matters because he was gay. So he NEVER came around and I never got a chance to know him. But all I know is that he was a funny guy liked to make ppl laugh. But I wish he had been treated better by his own fam so I could've known him better. Rather said how ignorant society can be to others.
