Depends on your computer capacities, but Sims 3 don´t have the requirements of games as Crysis or Grand Theft Auto IV, so i don´t think it will do what you are saying.

@xoDailynox i think it depends on if your computer can take it. cuz i have the sims 2, and i played it on my old computer which didnt have much capacity, and the game would crash regularly. i had to be saving the game like every 10 minutes.

The game is only really great if you have a good computer because the it has so much memory and stuff. You would want to make sure you have a good ram etc. before playing it, otherwise it it will be SO laggy.

(Search dxdiag in your start menu [if you have Vista] to find out all your computer details).

Theres a thing called Random Access Memory. RAM for short.

You abviously have very little of that on your computer, if the game is slow. No matte rhow "old" the computer is or how expensive it is, you need RAM. The sims 3 will run great on 2GB of RAM, i'm guessing you need to go buy a stick or 2 ($13 for a stick)
