George Harrison rules. There's a bunch of other guitarists (famous and unknown) doing this solo on youtube but versions like this-basically playing what george played-are the best. He nailed that solo and nobody can improve on it
Great job man - I agree, I think Geo did em both too. I don't know about the thin sound thou, you are on the money, excellent technique you have, great feel. Thanks for posting
You're right; G was the man. In the movie, you can see him playing a pretty cool solo on the live take (available on "Let It Be...Naked"). That was Jan '69. In April, he dubbed the solo for the single version - the one most people know. In Jan '70, he dubbed this one for the actual "Let It Be album release.
No. It's kind of confusing. It's a Peavey Wolfgang model. Ernie Ball had the contract with Eddie Van Halen to produce the Wolfgang for a few years, then for some reason, Eddie switched to Peavey to make the Wolfgang. The guitars look and play very similarly to the Ernie Ball musicman, which the original Wolfgang was modeled after.
OMG.. you are fantastic!!!

I agree with you... why they didn't use this great solo, I don't know. I think it was Harrison playing and not Macca. Good job!
