OMG, Phil Donahue is a fucking idiot! Most of the most violent people and incidents happen at fucking night clubs for the more mainstream. At gigs people are more polite, there are some douchy security but when I've crowd surfed, I've gotten respect and high fives off Security. The reason they are there at the gigs is because they DO relate to the music. If not they just get bigger earmuffs.

Don't assume your experiences are the experiences of everyone else. remember this was back in 95, the club scene is nothing like it is today.

@killerramon I didn't take into the account of the time lapse, but the thing is, he's not being polite, he's clearly being one-sided here and not even registering some of the opinions so the limelight is in his favour. And these aren't my experience, it is all over the news about violence in clubs.I do respect that stage diving is dangerous though, however I haven't had any experience of it.
