dev anand's corny dialogue delivery (hence awful acting), his old, stale, wirey voice make it an uphill battle for rafi sahab. unfortunately, rafi sahab has had to overcome this barrier in many times such as tere mere sapne or din dhal jaye. fortunately he always comes out with flying colors. god bless rafi sahab - he has the voice of a farishta. dev anand's single greatest achievment was waiting 6 months to finish guide until dada burman returned to health to finish the music score.
