That's not exactly true. The only way we could have interest free money is to allow for an exchange of a tradable commodity. ie, gold or silver. That's the paper money we use to have. Think of that when you consider that HR1207 now has 112 co-sponsors. But it's interesting that 98 of them are Republicans leaving just 14 Democrats. So the PARTY OF CHANGE don't seem all that interested in monitoring The Fed but just happen to now control all branches of government and get to choose a new justice. If you control the money supply you'll know exactly when that will happen. All you have to do is buy before the expansion and sell before the downturn. The central bank for The Federal Government should be Congress. They are the ones that produce the bills. They should be the ones to know how much money to print to pay those bills. But they would still need banks and brokerages to sell government bonds to the public to raise the cash. Just no banks controls the interest rates and therefore can't control the booms and busts. Obama just tripled what The Bush Administration has been doing for the last 8 years. More government and more spending. There will be no economic growth while the government continues to intrude in business and grow in size. So hang tight alright, we are in for 10 to 12 years of the biggest economic downturn in American History since the Great Depression. The only way to stop it is to cut the size of government, reduce spending, and lower taxes.
And you should keep in mind that after WW2 we had the biggest growth in manufacturing jobs and our debt was held in 30 years government bonds. Today we have virtually no manufacturing left and our 100 times bigger debt is financed ,by 3 month T bills. During WW2 we were in a deflationary depression. Today with the mass printing of new money will be an inflationary depression. Things are not the same at all.

What makes you think they want to replace combustion based cars? The oil companies got us by the balls. As a matter of history, the big banks and big oil are owned by the same people. Government policy was geared toward use of cars by americans. With establishment of the interstate highway system and most of The DOT budget for highway repairs. Low rates to buy new cars and lack of passenger rail. They want you to drive because that uses up oil. When cars came on the scene, there were electric cars that charged themselves while driving. If it weren't for government subsidies to oil and railroads we could have regenerating electric cars with no need for gas or pluging in by now

Thanks to my ancestors who knew the value of a gun and used it only when necessary....attacked by bear and mountain lions while putting in the highways over the passes...which we use so freely....they didn't just appear out of nowhere...be greatful that the road is already done for you! Central banking is exactly the problem. The gov. has to power to create our money ,interest free, but has delegated that to a private institution that does not have to listen to the gov. at all. And to top it off we pay interest to have them print money from nothing?!?! Am I the only one who sees the absurdity in that? The fed is not transparent in the least as Bernanke has refused to answer loads of questions regarding the fed's recent actions that would be important for the markets to know.

That's not exactly true. The only way we could have interest free money is to allow for an exchange of a tradable commodity. ie, gold or silver. That's the paper money we use to have. That was when the government could only print the paper covered by gold and silver in stock. The rest of the economy ran on the acutal gold and silver in public hands. Very little inflation and solid stable money. Ahhhh, Those were the days.

Think of that when you consider that HR1207 now has 112 co-sponsors. But it's interesting that 98 of them are Republicans leaving just 14 Democrats. So the PARTY OF CHANGE don't seem all that interested in monitoring The Fed but just happen to now control all branches of government and get to choose a new justice. But it's the Democrats that will decide this bill. The Dems need The Fed intact to push through thier massive programs.

You don't need hyperinflation to suck the wealth from Americans. All you need is to know when the expansions and contractions will happen. If you control the money supply you'll know exactly when that will happen. All you have to do is buy before the expansion and sell before the downturn. The Fed obviously knows because they control the money supply and interest rates. Their friends and international banks buddies must truely make a fortune. And when they make an unexpected mistake, BAILOUT!

The central bank for The Federal Government should be Congress. They are the ones that produce the bills. They should be the ones to know how much money to print to pay those bills. But they would still need banks and brokerages to sell government bonds to the public to raise the cash. Just no banks controls the interest rates and therefore can't control the booms and busts. By making US Dollars instead of Federal Reverve Notes, you eliminate the interest fee The Fed charges on outstanding notes

The only economic growth the fed has caused are the bubbles it creates through fixing interest rates as it sees fit instead of letting the market take care of it. Since the instalation of the fed we have had a great depression(which, if you read up on, didnt help the situation), booms and busts since then, and now the shitstorm of them all is coming our way thanks to the fed setting interest rates so artificially low that people were basically given free money.

There will be no economic growth while the government continues to intrude in business and grow in size. So hang tight alright, we are in for 10 to 12 years of the biggest economic downturn in American History since the Great Depression. The only way to stop it is to cut the size of government, reduce spending, and lower taxes.

And you should keep in mind that after WW2 we had the biggest growth in manufacturing jobs and our debt was held in 30 years government bonds. Today we have virtually no manufacturing left and our 100 times bigger debt is financed ,by 3 month T bills. During WW2 we were in a deflationary depression. Today with the mass printing of new money will be an inflationary depression. Things are not the same at all.

Obama is putting an end to the tax loopholes so manufacturing will be returning. We need to focus on biology, space exploration, gps productivity devices and getting rid of most greenhouse emitters, that will be a huge boon to society.

What makes you think they want to replace combustion based cars? The oil companies got us by the balls. As a matter of history, the big banks and big oil are owned by the same people. There is no way they will let us off the hook. In 6 years, oil will be back to $150 per barrel and a war in Pakistan and Afganistan will be raging. The Russians will be getting nervous as our military will be on their borders. We'll be cutting emissions all right, People just won't drive anywhere other than work.

Government policy was geared toward use of cars by americans. With establishment of the interstate highway system and most of The DOT budget for highway repairs. Low rates to buy new cars and lack of passenger rail. They want you to drive because that uses up oil. When cars came on the scene, there were electric cars that charged themselves while driving. If it weren't for government subsidies to oil and railroads we could have regenerating electric cars with no need for gas or pluging in by now
