I just noticed at 3:01 the cameraman does a 360 and actually pans by my face. I didn't notice at the time that he had actually done that.

The thing that obviously dates this as made in the 21st century as opposed to the 1920s, is the audiences incessant "Woooooooo.....". If entertainers of the period had experienced this they would have thought they were performing for a bunch of wild animals.
Call me old fashioned, but I prefer the old fashioned cheers, claps, and whistles. Save the wooooos for you local redneck tavern please.
Oh and a big hand for Mora's Modern Rythmnists - a fine period styled band.

Probably 2003. The Argyle club closed when the building was redecorated (essentially destroyed) and was eventually replaced by the Cicada club, run by the same guy and featuring most of the same performers. They even have a live webcam from the new place.
