  • not much difference

  • game developers dont know how to take advantage of dx11

only programs i ever saw tht took advantage of it were uningine heaven and 3dmark11, but in games, they dont use its full potential-.- the only game i saw tht changed a lot from dx9\10 to 11 was crysis 2...but thts was due to the high resolution patch the game developers released...i believe tht dx11 is a improvment...problem is...noone knows how to use it fully

  • @seriousman006 i guess the people at crytek are putting it to good use and catching up to put crysis right back up there where it used to be according to graphics

  • @thapizzakillr they know how to make good games with amazing graphics...but i have the feeling theyr sacrificing stuff to make room for graphics, crysis 1 was the biggest Leap in gaming, games today still dont look or play as good as crysis 1(the amount of options was unbelievable), not even metro 2033 and it was one of the first games to use dx11, crysis 2 has a lot of potential graphicwise, but still needs a lot of work when it comes to gameplay, and graphics arent everything in a game

  • there is like no difference?

  • i have this game, and i run it with direct x 9, it looks great and fantastic.

  • be cross-eyed to see it in 3d

  • uhh.. virtually no difference. not the best comparison

  • Dx9 is better :p

  • Well, this sure as hell wasn´t 1080p...

  • look at the water and it has more detail

  • at 0:15 when i see the water splash is so realist in dx9 c ... dx 11 looks very bad and unnatural

  • Consoles are builded on theirs own comersial base.So we willnt take any progress before fucking consoles llbe dead.FUCK YEAH!

  • This is BS. The only real difference is the 20fps performance hit I get when running in DX11 mode. What a joke! The only people who can sit there with a straight face and say there is a big difference are either blind or just trying to convince themselves because they've spent loads on a new card. Cool, I have a dx11 card, but I'm not taking a hit like that for fuck all. It's been badly optimized by capcom, I think.

  • what can you expect from a console game built around the equivalent of DX9? do you think theyre gonna redone it completely different in DX11 for PC?

  • it is the same dx version on both screens. Just look at the FRAP...it's impossible to be the same for different versions of dx in the same pc or a different one. Why do you put stupid videos online where people see no difference???

  • @geokonti because the fag wants to convince people not to buy a dx11 graphics card. in reality dx11 is better its cheap too. i boght a gtx460 gddr5 768mb pixel shader 5.0. only 150$ i run every single game i have on highest settings. no lag. the problem with the video is. the developers would have to recreate the game all over again just to make it dx11. they wont waste money on that, instead what they do is add a higher resolution Texture pack.

  • yes theres no diff on a 4 inch screen but if u have a 47inch lcd like me theres a massive differance trust me

  • wow the water effects in direct 11 is quite good

  • Minima differenza!!!

  • I noticed the reflections looked abit better, and the water, other than that hardly any difference :/

  • almost no diference

  • @agustinbs Almost no difference? I didn't know a difference at all. Except for at the end when the big monster went into the water. The water effect looked better on DX9.

  • @agustinbs Look at the water effects :)

  • All I really noticed was the softer shadows....

  • I can't see much of a difference there, except the legs of that creature have a few more polygons in dx11. It is disappointing to see how little gaphics improvement there has been since dx9.

  • @The4Experience

You have to see the bench in actual render.. it doesnt show on the vid that much, but its pretty clear in game, dx11's lizard has wiggly fats on it. It jiggles when hit with a rocket as well as while its walking. The higher polygon count is pretty clear as night and day as well. The water waves are much different too. In dx9, the lizard waves are pretty generic 1 big wave, while dx11's has independent waves per footstep.

  • @Reason4Termination Wel at least we at ati have a family and principles. Which I can't say same about nvidia and intel

  • @sancemance Lol, dont get me wrong though, Ive a 5870 enjoying cat 10.9 ;). Ive used both ati and nvidia cards throughout my life (and a bit of s3 hehe) I'd say all of em are good cards. And throughout, brand zealots will always rant this vs this card vs theirs (nvidia and 3dfx fanboism even way back hehe).

Current benchies show gtx400 having better graphics on LP2 dx11 though, but I dont care. As long as it doesnt drop my frames less than 50, im fine with that! ;)

  • warum läuft das nur mit 30 fps oder so? ich hab auch ne gtx 470 amp und das läuft mit 50

  • o yea, dx9 runs like 30fps more then dx11 on my system.. crazy smooth diffirence

    hd5770

  • @sancemance

Look he record movie in fraps ...

  • My opinion is, that direcx 9 looks better in some games, because there are less details. I mean with dx11 you have much more details. There are too much details. And if there are too much details, it seems like they are compressed above the others.. Then there are too many details on a too small place. And this often creates a blurry look in fast actions.

  • @swisseragonplayer

i agree, i was supprised that i liked the dx9 version look better, even shadows look soo much better..

and when there is too much detail in game you tend to focus on that instead of the gameplay.. thats why old school arcade games were the "real games"

    low graphich with fantastic gameplay

  • @sancemance yes, you are absolutely right!!

  • @sancemance lol ati fanboi in denial

  • @swisseragonplayer Most people note that dx9 is better image quality wise, is because they get better framerates. An average person equates better framerate = more things are detailed = better graphics.

  • @Reason4Termination exactly..

  • There is no point using directx11 instead of directx9 version of the game - only the water surfuces seem to have a difference - and anyway, I have a ATI Radeon HD4670 AGP 1GB Ram, which is directx9 - directx10 compliant, so I can't actually play the directx11 version, so why bother, since it has no graphical value??? :P ;) ;D

  • @hawksoul08 DX11 rendering will boost your performance depending on the game.

  • there's not much of a difference...what's the point?

and btw, this game reminds me of monster hunter. \m/

  • the water in directx 11 looks much better than dx9, dx9 looks all.. I dont know 0.o

  • It looks better on dx9 .. oO

  • I can barley see the diffrance lol

  • Comment removed

  • @TedWinni look at the bosses orange weak points on the dx11 side, theres tessellation going on there and on his orange horns too. not a big difference for this game but hopefully that changes in the new upcoming games.

  • @illusiveCreations ahh right.. i see Comment removed ;) thanks for enlightening me

  • There is no a big difference, at least for my. Only in the fps.

  • I see some apparent differences...but that's just me

  • @BrioCyrain yea if u look closly you can see the DX11 has a bit better textures

  • Omg OMg! Dx11 really changes the game experience a LOT!! omG! oMg!!

    NOT!

  • @Spetznaz yeah true. It looks like LP2 doesnt use dx11 at all. After benchmarking it on my pc, the only difference between dx9 and 11 is FPS lmao
