@01yz80 the scx10 is a great truck, plus theres so many aftermarket products for it, i recenlty sold this truck on ebay, and im rebuilding the silver hilux, i just got my first cc01, not as capable as the scx10 but the body im putting on it is a lr3, stay tunned for that.

@juozuik21 55turn is very common motor for rock crawlers, its slow and very torquey, so its good for very precise driving, which is great for rocks and tricky crawls, but is too slow for other terrain, like lose dirt, and sand, and 35t is faster, so u get the best of both worlds, i currently have 27turn motors in all my crawlers. they are fine, and look great on camera, kicking up dirt.
hey rwallaceiv the motor and esc was discontinued what would you use now? I love this truck the way it handles is beautiful. It kinda sold me on the scx10. Any info would be great on the whole set-up!
@gifts216 i updated the link with a similar version esc combo, but the do sell the esc, by its self, and any motor will do, i currently use tha axial 27t motor in both my trucks, plus there only like 12 bucks if they break down, but the nice esc by its self is still like 94 bucks,
@wiseman1907 the bumper lights were some left overs from the axial kit, and the roof top ones were make to accept lights. but the front head lights were from RamRc . com and they come with light buckets. square ones.
At first i was like "WOW.. This is gonna suck!" because it ept flipping. but 4 some reason i kept watching an it turned out good 4 a 1/10 scaler i like it. looks real. Great vid man.
Still speechless.... I watch this vid overnight I'm building my ax10 to be scale got my tires and body. Fabbed up my own rock sliders now working on getting a scale frame probably gonna go with the scx10 frame since most my opponents are the same just ready to get rid of the ax10 frame lol need more scale!!!!!!

@jand2442 ive been into rc's since 1985, Ive raced them indorrs and outdoors, and truck pulled with them, but scale off road is the best because it adds realism to it, the object is to build the toughest truck but at the same time the most real looking, there is alot of craftsmanship that goes into it too, they dont make hard plastic bodies anymore, and i dont kmow why. There are alot of people searching for hard shell bodies that cant afford classic tamiya prices.

@MattS6993 thats an honest question matt, the short answer is = this video is unique because its the only one like this, aka a music video, all of these people have seen ALL the other rc videos out there, and mine offers them something new and exciting, only a true RC fan really can appreciates that, just watch all of the other rc videos out there and then come back to mine and you will see, i hope this answer was honest enough.. have fun buddy!
@MattS6993 It's becouse it looks so real. I do understand your point. To a person who is not into RC it looks like a toy you could buy at any Toys R Us. But it is so far from that. To actually make this rig happen took over $500+ dollars and hours of time. If you buy a Losi Micro Trekker for $150 you will know what I am talking about. It will be a cheap safe way to buy a ready to drive crawler that is very well made. If you have more money that try the Axail Wraith $365.
@simonz28 these trucks are always under construction and "always being tuned" and at first it used to always break, but now that i know more about the truck, and its weak points, i have finally settled on a set up that doesnt break and is "rock solid," it just takes a while to work out the bugs, but when you do.. ur set.. just keep testing and it will be solid!
Hi! I love your truck and your way of driving, the Jeep looks raly scale because it doesnt bounce around like most scale crawlers do when you go fast. Yours hanled more like a 1.1 car, have you done something special to get the scaler to handle like that?
@VolvoAll3 the truck is pretty heavy, and i have the springs loose as in "completely expanded" which makes the truck sit kinda saggy and at mid shock, but other than that, its the slow motion that makes it look so real.. we get to see the suspension's full slow movement.
Sick video! Love the little touches on your truck, like the lead rope wrapped around the bumper. And considering the Commanche body, that busted left mirror is about as "scale" as you can get. Never seen a Commanche that had both mirrors...
@FluxAscender thanks man, funny story about the rope. i was 4x4ing through the neighbors garden and something got wrapped around the wheel and closer inspection it was this rope.. i said to myself.. wow this looks scale.. ill take it.. just dont tell my neighbor!
Ive watched a lot of rc crawling videos and by far yours is the best, Loved it, and that jeep is killer, looked so real, loved how that suspension looked, awesome.

Sick video! Love the little touches on your truck, like the lead rope wrapped around the bumper. And considering the Commanche body, that busted left mirror is about as "scale" as you can get. Never seen a Commanche that had both mirrors...

@FluxAscender thanks man, funny story about the rope. i was 4x4ing through the neighbors garden and something got wrapped around the wheel and closer inspection it was this rope.. i said to myself.. wow this looks scale.. ill take it.. just dont tell my neighbor!

@RussiaMONSTER no its not on the forums.. it would probably be a boring thread.. because all of the build is straight forward and stock and can be purchased from the store.. i really want to be able to braze custom parts one day thats sounds fun.. i added the links in the description to recreate my build, stay tuned for my next 2 videos.. your gonna love em
