In March of this year, it will be a whole year that we lost Richard Pegue. It's still hard to believe that he's gone...but the dusties will live on! I miss you Uncle Richard!
I've got a few cassette tapes of Richard Pegue working his Saturday 12 am- 7 am(or was it 6 am...?) shift on 1450 AM. Richard Pegue should have remained on AM(with, perhaps, a simulcast on FM). Without the music of a community; there can be no "Full Voice" of a community! Play The Best Of Richard Pegue- frequently!
Richard Pegue has been such a big part of my life. The Man And The Music. I Will now have to adjust to the idea that he will no longer be around. I am glad that I taped many of his shows for so many years.
This is a very good video for I have followed him for 40 years. We all shall miss the Best Music Of Your Life being presented by Richard Pegue. Will be missing you Richard. Rest In Peace. Love you.
I went to Hirsch with "Piggy". He was a great guy loved by many. I was sorry to hear he had passed.

Richard Pegue was one of the most revelled radio personalities in Chicago radio.
I miss our engaging conversations at Guitar Center whenever we would run into each other.
Thanx to Eddie Thomas

Richard Pegue is the Best! I miss "It's Friday Night" by Sam Fletcher. "The Talk Of Chicago" is "The Noise Of Chicago" without Richard Pegue!
