Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves have received from God.
The sufferings of the saints strike no deeper than the things of time, last no longer than the present time, are light afflictions, and but for a moment. How vastly different are the sentence of the word and the sentiment of the world, concerning the sufferings of this present time! Indeed the whole creation seems to wait with earnest expectation for the period when the children of God shall be manifested in the glory prepared for them.
It is a frightening reality when someone you love simply disappears. We saw this wonderful film in Houston and walked out of the theater practically in tears. Upon finding him/her, whether alive or otherwise, the dread turns to infinite sadness, although the sense of "closure" acts as a Band aid for the soul.
Our congratulations go to everyone involved in this wonderful film, especially the "non-actors" that stole the show! INCREDIBLE!
I caught this film at its premiere at WorldFest. What got to me personally was how it puts a human face on how these disappearances affect the families and survivors. Check it out.
BRAVO, boys. Great job on a great film. I can't wait to see this powerful message reach a wide audience. Thanks for taking the time to shed light on an important issue!
Great film. Very interesting story. Kudos to both Matthew Thompkins and Julio Cedillo for their brilliant efforts in front and behind the camera. To any distributor reading this, I plan to take all my 53 "first" cousins to see this film. As well as my 14 "Tias" and "Tios", so don't miss out on the Latino buying power.
I was lucky enough to see this at the USA Film Festival in Dallas. I was totally blown away -- it was as beautiful as it was heartbreaking to watch. Amazing work. Pray for a distributor!

We saw Julio Cesar Cedillo (martin) in The Three Burials! He kicked Tommy Lee Jones' ass!
Matthew Tompkins (nick) was just in Missionary Man and did the same to Dolph Lundgren, the Russian from Rocky. Nice fuc*ing going, fellas!
We're wondering what's next for you guys.
Maurice Ripke was totally scary as the killer.
The part where he is preparing to maim is spooky. It's well shot. Who was your DP? He is amazing!
